The activities on the day were boccia (a form of bowls), new age curling, football, table tennis and table cricket. All the activities were specially adapted for the special needs of the participants and were thoroughly enjoyed by all participants, carers, parents and siblings.

Students from the College of St Mark and St John and Ivybridge Community College assisted with coaching the activities and helping the young people to access the activities.

Other organisations attended on the day to share their useful information and opportunities with the families who came, these included the Jubilee Sailing Trust which provides sailing opportunities regardless of physical ability and also local sports clubs who are able to include disabilities within their programmes.

The event was designed to gauge the need within the community for a regular disability sports club. Feedback from the event was very positive and the College will now be working towards providing this regular opportunity.
