Devon FA Ability Counts Football Tournament

Ivybridge College is very pleased to once again be taking part in a county-wide football initiative from Devon Football Association – Ability Counts. The programme is for students from mainstream and special schools and aims to develop players’ ability and confidence, while having fun through playing football and the opportunity to take part in inter school competition.

The first of this year’s county-wide events took place at Ivybridge College on 30 September. The College entered two teams, managed by Dave Leonard and the boys had the opportunity to play lots of games during the day. The event was supported by County Competition Managers and Ivybridge College 6th form A level PE students helped out on the day and did a magnificent job refereeing the games.
