Welcome to South & West Devon School Sport Partnership
The School Sport Partnership initiative is one element of the Government’s Physical Education, School Sport and Club Links Strategy (PESSCL). This is jointly funded by the Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF). It is implemented through the Youth Sport Trust.
The School Sport Partnerships are families of secondary and primary schools that work together to enhance the quality of sporting opportunities, through the curriculum, Out of School Hours Learning, inter-schools competitions and the school to club links based around a ‘hub’ Sports College.
Our School Sport Partnership is hosted by the Sports College at Ivybridge Community College and consists of the learning communities of Ivybridge, Tavistock, Okehampton, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge.
